Citano

Privacy and measurement

How Citano measures product use.

Citano uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand anonymous traffic to public pages. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Store research, report contents and email addresses are excluded.

Anonymous public traffic

Vercel counts public page views and reports broad information such as the referring site, country, browser and device type. It uses no cookies. Citano removes query parameters and excludes account, sign-in, dashboard and API routes before an event is sent.

Never sent to analytics tools

  • Your email address or name
  • Your store domain or URL
  • Buyer questions, AI answers, sources or generated fixes
  • Dashboard query parameters or internal record IDs

Stored by Citano

  • Account and authentication data needed to sign in
  • Stores and reports you choose to save
  • Scan evidence, job state and credit usage needed to run the service
  • Support messages and feedback you submit, plus the email address you provide for a reply
  • A one-way support rate-limit fingerprint; Citano does not store the raw visitor IP in its support inbox

Your Google Analytics choice

This choice controls optional Google Analytics only. Declining it does not block the checker, dashboard or anonymous public-traffic count. The browser remembers the choice on this device.
