A product page is AI-ready when its important facts are public, consistent, and machine-readable. That does not guarantee a recommendation. It gives search and shopping systems cleaner evidence to understand the product and decide whether it fits a shopper’s request.
What “AI readiness” means here
This checker uses a deliberately narrow definition: can a crawler safely access the submitted page, and can it find current product identity and buying facts in the HTML and Product structured data? Structured data is labelled information embedded in a page for machines. It should repeat facts buyers can also see—not create claims that are absent from the storefront.
Which product-page facts get checked?
Name, brand, SKU and GTIN
These fields help distinguish this exact product from a similarly named item.
Price, currency and availability
Current buying facts need to agree across the page, markup and merchant feed.
Variants, images and reviews
Real options and legitimate review counts make the product easier to evaluate.
Shipping and return rules
Clear fulfillment terms answer practical questions before a shopper clicks.
Canonical URL and crawler access
The preferred URL must be accessible if you want search systems to consider it.
Conflicting page signals
The checker flags selected disagreements instead of averaging them into a score.
Use the receipt as a repair order
- 1Fix conflicts first.
If two fields disagree, decide which value is true and update the storefront, Product markup and feed together.
- 2Add missing buyer facts.
Prioritize product identity, price, availability and real variants before optional marketing copy.
- 3Recheck the exact URL.
Run the checker again after the published change. Keep the before and after receipts separate from actual search performance.
- 4Measure discovery elsewhere.
Use Google Search Console for impressions, clicks and average position, then test real buyer questions per AI engine.
What this checker cannot prove
It does not predict a Google position, validate a Merchant Center account, inspect a private product feed, or prove ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google Shopping or another system will recommend the item. Rankings depend on the query, competition, relevance, quality, freshness, location and many system-specific signals. This receipt covers only evidence on the submitted public page.
